MUSICAL MURALS: An Interactive Walking Tour of Downtown Tucson

MUSICAL MURALS: An Interactive Walking Tour of Downtown Tucson

Start: Hotel Congress courtyard

In collaboration with Meet Me at Maynards, live music and visual art will come together for a night of Musical Murals sponsored by Instrumental Music Center. 10 student chamber ensembles from the Fred Fox School of Music will perform along a walking route that discovers the colorful walls of art in downtown Tucson. Come downtown, get active, and join the fun!

You can register and check in at the registration table located in the Hotel Congress courtyard between 5:15 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Contactless registration and check in is available on your smart phone or computer the day of the event at meetmeatmaynards.com. No prior registration necessary

Walk west on E Pennington Street. Cross Stone Ave to the NW corner and walk through Jácome Plaza. Walk north on N Church Ave and use the crosswalk. Turn left on W Alameda. Turn right N Court.

Walk north on N Court. Turn left on W Washington St.

Continue on Washington. Turn left on N Meyer Ave. Continue on to the walking path next to TMA.

Use crosswalk to cross the street. Walk through El Presidio Plaza and Pima County HR Dept. Buildings.

Cross bridge over Congress and Broadway. Turn left to go down stairs through La Placita Park.

Continue down the stairs to walk east on Broadway. Cross Church Ave and turn right to head south on Church Ave. Turn left on W Ochoa St.
