Incoming Freshman, Transfer Students, and Current UA Students
Fall/Spring admissions: Students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible during the year prior to attendance. The deadline for both incoming and current UA students for the fall semester is May 1. First attendance during the fall semester is encouraged because of the sequencing of required music courses. However, The UA Fred Fox School of Music does accept new music students into the spring semester. The deadline for both incoming and current UA students for the spring semester is December 1. All incoming UA students are required to attend a mandatory New Student Orientation session prior to attending The UA School of Music. Please call the Office of Orientation at 520-621-5293 to make a reservation for an orientation session. For more information, please contact David McGuiggan at 520-621-1454 or at email@example.com.
The Fred Fox School of Music requests submission of all admissions materials for domestic student applications by no later than June 1 for fall admission, October 1 for spring admission, and March 1 for summer sessions. The Fred Fox School of Music welcomes applications from international students. International student applications are due April 1 for fall admission, September 1 for spring admission, and February 1 for summer sessions. Applicants who submit paperwork well in advance of the proposed starting date are most likely to avoid disappointment caused by unexpected delays in the receipt and acceptance of required documents. All students, domestic and international, who wish to receive the fullest consideration for financial aid or scholarships should submit all materials by December 1 for admission the following fall.
