We are delighted to announce this week’s lecture within the UA Bolton Guitar Studies Virtual Series, this one featuring Cuban classical guitarist and composer Joaquin Clerch.
This event is scheduled for Friday, October 2nd at 11 AM pst. The meeting will last one hour and a half where Joaquin will share with us his thoughts about the music of Leo Brouwer. Furthermore, he will be giving a short masterclass on the work dedicated to him – “La Ciudad de las Columnas” (The City of Columns). A Q & A segment will take place towards the end of the session.
In order to get more familiar with the work, here is a video recording made by our student, Ana Maria Iordache for this masterclass.
