Jefferson Lives! is being workshopped in Tucson at the end of this month, which will culminate in two presentations at Holsclaw Hall on October 29, 2026.
The first presentation (free) is scheduled for 11:00 am, reserved exclusively for high school students.
The second presentation is a ticketed event scheduled for 7:30 pm and open to the public.
Jefferson Lives! tells the American story. It traces the ideas and struggles, from the Writs of Assistance through Common Sense, that culminated in the Declaration of Independence. It presents Jefferson as a visionary and as a man of contradictions … and simply asks the audience to think and trusts them to reach their own conclusions. It is a nonpartisan work. It takes no side in today’s arguments. It campaigns for no one … and it is the first project ever to be funded jointly by the National Endowment for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Humanities.
