The University of Arizona Fred Fox School of Music presents a Faculty Artist Series recital featuring pianist Rex Woods and violinist Alexander Woods. The free-admission recital will be held at 7:00 p.m. in Holsclaw Hall on Saturday, September 23, 2017.
Mozart, Brahms, Debussy and Stravinsky composed some of the most enduring and beloved masterpieces for violin and piano. From the lyricism of Mozart and Brahms to the harmonic and textural innovations of Debussy and Stravinsky, there is always something new to discover in these incomparable duos. Alexander Woods, an alumnus of the University of Arizona and professor of violin at Brigham Young University, joins his father in presenting some of their favorite works.
