Arizona Symphony Orchestra & UA Symphonic Choir with guest high-school choirs

The Arizona Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Dr. Thomas Cockrell, will open the concert with Edward Elgar’s “Enigma Variations.”
To close the performance, Arizona Symphony Orchestra and UA Symphonic Choir combine forces to present Haydn’s ebullient and theatrical “Missa Cellensis,” conducted by Dr. Elizabeth Schauer. The ensembles will be joined by choirs from Catalina Foothills High School (William Mattison, conductor), Canyon Del Oro High School (Brandi Dignum, conductor), The Gregory School (Chris Fresolone, conductor), Pusch Ridge Christian Academy (Daniel Dunning, conductor) and Salpointe High School (Natalie Hall, conductor). Dr. Elizabeth Schauer and the choirs also will travel to New York to present a performance of this work on April 28 at Carnegie Hall.
