The Arizona Choir explores our nation’s diverse faith traditions through American works on Christian, Buddhist and Muslim themes. This performance marks the first for newly appointed Director of Choral Activities, Miguel Ángel Felipe. Dr. Felipe brings a wealth of experience to UA, having previously held positions at the University of Hawai‘i, Boston University, Harvard University and Oberlin Conservatory. He is equally at home with choral-orchestral masterworks of the Western canon and newly commissioned, cutting-edge works.
