Scholarship Opportunities
As a student in the University of Arizona School of Music, there are numerous scholarship opportunities open to you and there is no separate application required.
Successful Admission to the School serves as your application for scholarship consideration, while for students in performance based majors, your Audition will also be considered.
If you are an incoming undergraduate student, you should also check out the merit tuition awards available to both first-year and transfer students here, and new and continuing students are always encouraged to seek other sources of available funding using the University’s Scholarship Universe database.

For Music Education Students
Arizona Teachers Academy: Bachelor of Music (BM) Music Education students are encouraged to apply to the Arizona Teachers Academy (ATA), a program that can provide full coverage of tuition and fees for eligible students. The program fully funds future music educators in exchange for a commitment to teach in Arizona upon graduation. If you receive ATA funding for one year, you must teach in Arizona for one year; if you receive it for all four years, you are committing to teaching in Arizona for four years, and so forth. Find out more about this exciting program here.
