Undergraduate Advising
Welcome
Academic advising is a partnership between you, your advisor, and your faculty mentors. We are all in this together and share the same goals of ensuring that you get the most out of your time at the University of Arizona and that you graduate on time and prepared for what comes next. Whether you are a current or potential student, we encourage you to connect with your advisor if you have any questions or concerns.
Advisement Report
All current UA undergraduate students should be familiar with their advisement report, which you can get from your UAccess Student Center (Advising > Advisement Report > View Report as PDF). We encourage you to check the PDF version of your advisement report at the beginning and end of each term, any time you change your schedule, and before attending advising meetings. Your advisement report does not replace advising, but it can give you an idea of your degree requirements. Your advisor is able to make adjustments on your report if appropriate (and approved by UA Graduation Services).
Resources
Your academic advisor is your go-to resource for any and all questions about your degree, plan of study, or other issues/problems/concerns that you face at any time. These documents may answer some more common questions, but you should always feel comfortable and empowered to check in with your advisor at any time.
