Arthur Vint grew up in Tucson and after graduating from Rincon High School in 2007, he moved to New York City to pursue a career in music. While in NYC, Arthur became an in-demand jazz and session drummer, performing and recording regularly in the Tri-State area. He toured throughout the UK, Europe, North America and South America with many bands including Postmodern Jukebox, Zephaniah OHora and Gadadu and has appeared on over 40 commercially released recordings, including two albums under his own name on the Ropeadoope label.

Based on his decade of experience working at the world famous Village Vanguard, Arthur opened the Century Room jazz club inside the historic Hotel Congress in 2022 where he serves as the Artistic Director and General Manager.  He joined the faculty at the University of Arizona School of Music in 2020 where he teaches jazz drumset, jazz studio and recording studio production.

Arthur earned his bachelor’s degree in Jazz Performance from William Paterson University of New Jersey where he studied with Bill Goodwin, Kevin Norton and Rich DeRosa and his master’s degree in Jazz Performance from the Manhattan School of Music where he studied with John Riley, Bobby Sanabria and Jim McNeely. Arthur endorses Paiste Cymbals, Canopus Drums, Remo Drumheads, Protection Racket Cases, RTOM Accessories and Vic Firth Sticks.
