Laura Tagawa (2013 DMA in violin performance)
Laura is a member of the Arizona Opera Orchestra and Sierra Vista Symphony Orchestra. She also maintains a private violin studio and is the President of the Arizona Suzuki Association.
Toru Tagawa (2008 MM in Music Education)
Toru is the conductor of Sierra Vista Symphony, Tucson Repertory Orchestra and Canyon del Oro High School Orchestras. He served as the President of the Arizona Chapter of the American String Teachers Association 2018-2020. He has taken the Canyon del Oro High School Orchestra to perform at Carnegie Hall in NYC in 2017, and Tucson Repertory Orchestra to Japan in 2015 and 2019. He is one of the finalists for the conductor position of the Tucson Pops Orchestra.
