The well attended Sixth Annual UA Double Reed Day took place on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at the UA Fred Fox School of Music. Oboists and bassoonists of all ages and experience levels joined faculty members Sara Fraker, oboe; Marissa Olegario, bassoon; and guest artist Dr. Courtney Miller (University of Iowa) for a festive afternoon of classes, recitals and exhibits. The day concluded with the ever-popular reading session for large double reed ensemble.
