Collage of Inspiration

Can you squeeze out 10-seconds? Let’s do something cool together!

Description

Life during the past four months has reshaped the way people perceive art, it also has interfered with the way that artists create, and distribute work. We are physically separated, but we are not alone.

Collage of Inspiration is a multidisciplinary project. It provides a platform for artists to share their artistic thoughts and also to form connections with other artists and audiences from a deeper perspective. In the spirit of the surrealist game of Exquisite Corpse, each 10-second video is created in response to the previous ones. These inspirations organically unfold into a living piece made by beautiful minds.

Want to play?

First, watch the video here ( http://www.farbrook.net/collage/ ). Then create your own 10-second piece using any handy device. It could be your camera or your smartphone. Send your 10-second video to project email: booleanimage@yahoo.com to add it to the video thread. We will add each 10-second video in the order that it is submitted.  Please leave 1-second of footage at the beginning and 1-second at the end for transitions. We will edit it on to the existing video and add your name to the list of artists.

Watch the video grow with our combined creative energy!

Cheers,

Cynthia Stokes, Yuanyuan (Kay) He, Joseph Farbrook
