A fantastic UA Arts moment from this semester…UA Dance Ensemble members Candice Barth, Kara Madden & Hayley Meier, School of Dance faculty member/choreographer Autumn Eckman and harpist/faculty member Michelle Gott from The University of Arizona Fred Fox School of Music perform a collaborative work inspired by De Kooning’s “Woman-Ochre.” This site-specific dance at The University of Arizona Museum of Art was performed to “Passaggio” by Ludovico Einaudi and integrated the artwork “A Desert Veil: Soft Plants in a Harsh Landscape,” by Charles Hedgcock in conjunction with 6&6 Art Installation with Mark A. Dimmitt.
