Fred Fox School of Music alumnus Christian Giddings (DMA in Choral Conducting 2020) is presenting at the 67th Annual Meeting of the Renaissance Society of America to take place April 7-10, 2021 in Dublin. His paper is his DMA topic, “The Influence of Torquato Tasso’s Poetry on Monteverdi’s Madrigals” and it will be part of the panel called “Rhetoric and the Arts: Music, Visual Imagery, and Memory.”
