Thumbprint Kamala Sankram, Susan Yankowitz (2014)
Based on the true story of Mukhtar Mai, who brought her brutal attackers to justice in Pakistan. Mai requested her settlement create schools for girls, so they would not experience her humiliation of signing their names only with a thumbprint.
