Third Annual Solo String Competition
May 4, 7:00 PM
The Solo String Competition is open to University of Arizona undergraduate and graduate violin, viola, cello, and bass students. The 2021 repertoire features any unaccompanied work originally written for violin, viola, cello, or bass written in or after 1950. This competition awards first prizes and honorable mentions for two separate levels: undergraduate and graduate.
This event is made possible by the generous philanthropy of Julie Gibson, longtime friend of the Fred Fox School of Music.
