The Folk-Rock Ensemble is dedicated to performing songs from the singer-songwriter tradition that flourished in the early 1970s. The band includes drums, guitars, vocalists, and a full string quartet playing transcriptions and arrangements done by the students in the ensemble. This concert will include music by Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Elton John, Carole King, and many others.
