The University of Arizona Chamber Winds presents the groundbreaking 1925 work by Edgar Varèse, “Intégrales,” an innovative use of “sound clouds” that challenged traditional compositional techniques. The UA Wind Ensemble will provide contrast with James Stephenson’s poignant Symphony No. 2, “Voices,” which won the prestigious ABA Sousa/Ostwald Competition in 2018.
