Emily Xander
30-year old, California born musician Emily Xander has called Tucson home for the past six years and has spent most of her time here writing and playing and getting to know the southwest. Prior to Tucson, she studied Jazz Voice Performance at New England Conservatory in Boston, and before that Jazz Piano and Jazz Voice at The School For Music Vocations in Creston, Iowa. She currently works for Tucson’s jazz club, The Century Room, plays with various groups around town, and teaches private piano and voice lessons.
