Tucson Repertory Orchestra Music Director and Conductor, Toru Tagawa presents “Poulenc and Beethoven”

Saturday May 31, 2025 - 3:00p.m. to 4:30p.m.

Venue: Crowder Hall

Tucson Repertory Orchestra (TRO) was co-founded by Toru Tagawa, Conductor and Linda Doughty Kneifel in 2011 to give playing opportunities to highly skilled musicians in the Tucson area. Since 2012, TRO performed one Beethoven Symphony per year from Symphony No.1 to Symphony No.8. After the pandemic halt, we are proud to present Beethoven’s 9th in collaboration with Maestro Luke Diamond, conductor of the Tucson Masterworks Chorale. We are featuring singing talents from Tucson, Kimberly Chaffin, Soprano, Diana Peralta, Mezzo Soprano, Francisco Renteria, Tenor and Greg Guenther, Bass. In the first of the concert, we are featuring two wonderful piano professors from the University of Arizona, Dr. Fanya Lin and Dr. Daniel Linder on Poulenc Double Concerto.
