Place: A castle near Andalusia, Spain

Time: Late 18th century

Act 1

Early morning, a room for storage, soon to become Susanna and Figaro’s new living quarters.

Act 2

A few minutes later, Contessa Rosina Almaviva’s living quarters. There is a locking closet on one side of the room and a doorway to another room on the other side.

Act 3

Later that day, a large room where a wedding will be held.

Act 4

Late that evening, a garden outside the Almaviva’s palace. There are two pavilions on either side of the stage.
