Announcing the launch of the Community Piano program at the
University of Arizona School of Music!
The Community Piano (CP) program will offer piano instruction for members of the community of Tucson. Instruction will be given by University of Arizona piano pedagogy students.
The educational benefit is twofold. Community members will have the opportunity to study piano at an affordable price, and University of Arizona piano pedagogy students will gain teaching experience through a guided practicum experience. The University of Arizona pedagogy students will be mentored by Assistant Professor of Piano Pedagogy, Grace Ho.
Eligibility for Community Piano program
- All ages welcome
- Beginning level students preferred
- Guardian or third-party chaperone must be present during lessons for students who are minors
