Mariachi Arizona and Grupo Folklorico Miztontli will present a collaborative performance on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. in Crowder Hall. Under the musical direction of Alberto Ranjel and the artistic direction of Alexa Zozaya & Andrea Parber, members of Mariachi Arizona and Grupo Folklorico Miztontli will perform a showcase of authentic music and dance from various regions of Mexico.
This will be the first collaboration amongst Mariachi Arizona and Grupo Folklorico Miztontli, with the intention of uniting Hispanic communities on the University of Arizona campus. Together they hope to spread awareness and appreciation for the valued traditions of the Mexican people.
