Fred Fox Graduate Wind Quintet

Small Ensembles, Student Recitals Saturday April 20, 2019 - 1:00p.m. to 3:00p.m.

The Fred Fox Graduate Wind Quintet, the flagship student chamber music ensemble at the University of Arizona, will present a concert on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in Holsclaw Hall.

Currently in its sixth generation cohort, the Fred Fox Graduate Wind Quintet continues again its rich tradition of nationally and internationally regarded performance. The quintet has been named as a national semi finalist for the 2019 Coltman Chamber Music Competition in Austin Texas. This will be the ensemble’s six appearance at a nationally regarded chamber music competition. The faculty mentors of the ensemble are thrilled with the program’s continued success! Congratulations to the distinguished students who are members of the ensemble: Ivo Shin, flute; Monserrat García Campos, oboe; Baiyu Li, clarinet; Anne Cotin, horn and Jacob Fernandez, bassoon.
