Argentine Composer Andrés Martín writes that “it is possible to dream while sleeping or do it while you’re awake.” His multi-movement work, “Sueños,” explores several contrasting dream states, and will receive its Arizona premiere. The program will also feature the lively “String Quartet, No. 2” by Mexican composer Carlos Chávez and folk songs drawn from Luisa Espinel’s collection, “Canciones de Mi Padre,” first published at UA in 1946.
