Marissa Olegario joins the Fred Fox School of Music as the new assistant professor of bassoon. Her recital program will include works by Hindemith, Noël-Gallon and Schumman. Inspired by the surroundings of her new home in Tucson, she will also perform a piece that portrays the binary star Mizar and a new commissioned solo work by award-winning composer Shuying Li titled After Rain.
