“Celebrating the Great Jazz Bassists” – Chris Finet, bass

Chris Finet is the director of jazz studies and bass professor at Northern Arizona University. He is visiting the Fred Fox School of Music as part of a two-day residency where he will be presenting master classes, clinics and a final performance that celebrates great jazz bassists such as Jimmy Blanton, Ray Brown, Paul Chambers, Scott LaFaro and more. Joining Chris Finet on this concert will be UA faculty artists Angelo Versace and Brice Winston, as well as guest Matt McClintock.
