The University of Arizona Fred Fox School of Music presents “A Pi Day Celebration – Brass All Around!” showcasing faculty and distinguished students from the UA brass studios. This free-admission performance will take place on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 5:30 p.m., in the beautifulEnvironmental and Natural Resources 2 (ENR2) Building, located at 1064 East Lowell Street on the University of Arizona campus.
This concert will feature UA brass faculty and students in a variety of chamber ensembles.
The program will include works by Gabrieli, Mendelssohn, Sibelius and more. The event will showcase antiphonal works for brass in a beautiful venue that is designed to look like a slot canyon and echo a sense of space in the Southwest.
