Matt Tropman presents a program of music inspired by great works of opera, ballet and film. Dr. Tropman’s program will feature the première performance of a new suite of music from the opera “Carmen” for euphonium, piano and other instruments featuring many of the lesser-known themes from this classic opera as well as familiar favorites and a virtuosic finish. The program will also include ballet music of Prokofiev.
