Wildcat Music Futures is a new event in the School of Music for current undergrad and graduate students that prioritizes career preparedness and explores career possibilities in the arts. Community partners, including a variety of local musical and educational organizations, will be invited to connect with excelling students as they prepare to enter the professional job market.
What UofA students can expect:
- Opportunity to personally network with potential arts employers and professionals in the Southern Arizona community
- Individualized workshop sessions with SoM faculty and staff, including: CV and/or performance résumé development, mock job interviews, elevator pitch practice, cover letter review, and headshot photoshoot

- Create/refresh CVs, performance résumés, and cover letters
- Review suggested guidelines for job interviews and elevator pitches

- Tabling in a large open space, similar to a job fair
- Interaction with music students seeking to explore career pathways and opportunities
