We are excited to welcome saxophonist Dr. Kyle Jones to the University of Arizona School of Music. Dr. Jones is Assistant Professor of Music Business at the University of Memphis Rudi E. Scheidt School of Music. A multifaceted artist and educator, he has built a career that integrates performance, teaching, and arts administration, with additional experience in both music technology and management. His previous appointments include Co-Director of Fast Forward Austin and Production Coordinator for the Kansas City Baroque Consortium. Dr. Jones is a D’Addario Woodwinds artist and clinician.
During his time in Tucson, Dr. Jones will present a clinic on music business and a masterclass open to the public, and perform a recital with his colleague, pianist Dr. Timothy Jones. He will also be joined by the University of Arizona Professor of Saxophone Dr. Edward Goodman.
