GRADUATE CHORAL CONDUCTORS RECITALS

Vocal Sunday April 22, 2018 - 7:00p.m. to 9:00p.m.Tuesday April 24, 2018 - 7:30p.m. to 7:30p.m.

The University of Arizona Fred Fox School of Music presents two Graduate Choral Conductors Recitals.

 

On Sunday, April 22, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in Holsclaw Hall, the concert will feature Kantorei and Recital Choir under the baton of graduate conductors Anna Ziyun Li, Timothy Klingler, Gabriel Machado, John McMeen, Sunny Park and Jeff Vanderlee.

 

On Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. in Crowder Hall, the concert will feature Honor Choir and University Singers with graduate conductors Gavin Ely, Christian Giddings, Yujia Luo, Kevin Seal, Todd Wachsman and Thomas Wininger on the podium.

 

The Graduate Choral Conductors Recitals feature a rotation of four undergraduate choral ensembles, each conducted by a team of the more than 22 graduate choral conducting students. Recognized as one of the top graduate choral studies programs in the country, students from every corner of the USA and from five continents have come to study the art of choral conducting. This program is under the direction of Dr. Bruce Chamberlain, director of choral activities, and Dr. Elizabeth Schauer, associate director of choral activities.
