Come join us and experience Dalcroze movement exercises, known as Eurhythmics, to discover new ways to express yourself in piano music. In this interactive presentation, Professor Nakayma will demonstrate how these movement-exercises are useful for pianists. Participants will discover how to use gestures to help performance flow and how to use fingers-wrists-arm to reflect the flow of the music. They will also discover ways to create expressive tones with purposeful movements. Participants should bring a prepared piece to try out during this presentation of the Dalcroze Method.
