The University of Arizona Steel Band Fall 2017 is Open to all UA Students, Faculty and Staff


Are you interested in playing and learning about a new multi-cultural instrument? Have you played steel drums in the past and would like to start playing again? Maybe you were involved in music throughout high school but decided to major in a different area. The University of Arizona Steel Drum Band is for you! It is open to all UA students, faculty and staff.

Steel Band meets twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. this Fall 2017 semester. Hours can be flexible.

Our first meeting is on Wednesday, August 23, 2017.  Come join us!

University Community Chorus Open to New Singers for Fall 2017

High school and adult singers are invited to join the University Community Chorus this fall. An audition is not required for membership in the chorus, however music-reading experience is helpful.

Rehearsals: Tuesdays 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Concerts: Tuesday, October 31 at 3:00 p.m.
and Sunday, December 3 at 3:00 and 7:30 p.m.
First rehearsal: Tuesday, August 22, 2017 (Registration will open at 5:45pm)
