A memorial concert to celebrate the life and career of UA Professor Emeritus Larry Day
A memorial concert to celebrate the life and career of Dr. Larry Day will be held on Sunday, May 6, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. in Crowder Hall in the University of Arizona School of Music. Dr. Day was on the voice faculty at the UA School of Music from 1976 to 1997, and then served as a teaching professor emeritus until 1999. The performers will include Dr. Day’s former students and colleagues, and representatives from the University of Arizona School of Music and the Tucson musical community. Admission is is free. Donations may be made to the University of Arizona Foundation Larry Day Memorial Scholarship in lieu of flowers.
