Dr. Rosenblatt holds a B.A. in Music (piano performance) and an M.A. in Historical Musicology from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Ph.D. in the History and Theory of Music from the University of Chicago. Dr. Rosenblatt has done extensive research on the life and music of Franz Liszt and is responsible for uncovering a new Liszt piano concerto. His edition of the Liszt Concerto in E-flat Major for Piano and Orchestra, op. posth., has been published by Editio Musica Budapest in miniature score and two-piano version. He has also published articles in the Journal of the American Liszt Society and contributed chapters to The Liszt Companion (Greenwood Press, 2002). Current projects include a book on the history of opera.
